Kit Donation

BYFC Vice President, David Whiting, and family have a long history of visiting Tanzania and working with local voluntary organisations supporting development there. One such organisation is Tai, a youth-led NGO in Dar es Salaam, inspiring social behavioural change by influencing communities through the use of 3D animations, radio dramas & comics to deliver crucial messages to the community, especially to adolescents. We teamed-up with Tai to re-distribute old BYFC football kit to young people in a school in Morogoro region. 

The kit is the old-style kit from many years ago that was sitting in our storage container, that was never going to be used and now it has a new lease of life enabling young people in Tanzania to play football matches.
